The renter sends you a link to their RentPass. You open it without signing up and see the references their previous landlords gave.

Full rental history
You see every rental the renter entered, and which of them show a reference. The "Email confirmed" label means the reference was given by someone with access to the landlord's email address. We do not verify landlords' identity – for an important decision, check for yourself, e.g. with a call or by looking at the rental contract.

Structured and fair
The questions are closed and objective: rent payments, condition of the flat at move-out, deposit, communication and respect for house rules.

No sign-up
You just open the link. It is valid for a limited time chosen by the renter.
Did a former renter ask you for a reference?
Your email contains a link to the form. It takes two minutes. Please stick to facts – the renter sees the reference before publishing it and can reply.
RentPass is not a blacklist: you cannot look anyone up by name, and you cannot review anyone without their invitation.
